TAKING ADVANTAGE OF VALUE ADDED TAX FREE SHOPPING IN THE BAHAMAS

How do you feel when you pay more than what you see on Display? Not great, right ? But what if I tell you, you can shop without taxes, that too in Bahamas, during your vacation, Isn't it great ?? Of course, it sounds too exciting. Shopping without taxes reminds us that it's a great time to be alive.

When you are visiting the Bahamas, you have the chance to shop tax-free at wide range of stores with signed as a "Global Blue Tax-Free Shopping". All you need is to carry your passport or a valid ID. The minimum spending required is $25 which is not that big amount. Spending $25 itself will save you $1.75 (7% of purchase price) in tax. 

As myself a big shopping fan, I know we all don't want to pay taxes on our purchases. Global Blue, shoppers are qualify for VAT Free shopping and that will save up to 7% of the buying price. So in the end there won't be any VAT or Service fees.

But don't get too excited here. Let me break the ice Here.  know you are going to disappointed after reading this line but The Booze, Tobacco products, Medicine & Pharma products, and food are unfortunately excluded in this list. 

Also a good Advice from my personal experience, don't forget to ask about tax-free benefits before purchasing anything from the stores. Else you will end up paying tax as I did. :(
